The coming of spring is celebrated in Kerala as Vishu, a celebration of the season’s abundance before the hot Indian summer sets in. Mothers make a beautiful arrangement of local grains fruits, vegetables, berries and flowers, a scene that is revealed to the family on the day of Vishu. Then all this produce is cooked as a grand feast and eaten together with family and friends.

Priya will cook and present this Vishu feast inspired by her traditional, family recipes. This five course set menu with optional wine pairing menu presents hyperlocal dishes from the borders of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
